Mortgage News- June 18, 2009
The Chairman & CEO of IRR Residential, Kevin Nunnink has provided testimony before the House Financial Services, Oversight and Investigations Subcommittee on Thursday, June 18, 2009. The Subcommittee held a hearing on “Strengthening Oversight and Preventing Fraud in FHA and other HUD Programs.”
Kevin testified on the importance of appraisal independence for sound underwriting and protection against mortgage fraud. He appeared on the panel with the CEO of the Mortgage Bankers Association and the President of the National Association of Mortgage Brokers, and a few other witnesses.
